1. Data Controller
will-translate S.L. (NIF B20456789), Larramendi Kalea, 9, 20400 Tolosa, Gipuzkoa, Spain is the data controller for personal data collected through will-translate.com. We comply with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 (LOPDGDD).
2. Data We Collect
Contact forms: first name, last name, email, and business name. Checkout process: first name, last name, email, phone number, and country. Source documents submitted for translation are processed solely for the purpose of providing the translation service and are not used for any other purpose. Payment data is processed directly by Stripe and is not stored by will-translate. Server access logs retain IP addresses for up to 30 days.
3. Document Confidentiality
Source documents submitted for translation are handled with strict confidentiality. All translators engaged by will-translate sign confidentiality agreements as a condition of their engagement. Source documents are stored for the duration of the project plus 30 days and then deleted unless you request otherwise or unless applicable law requires longer retention.
4. Legal Basis and Purpose
Service delivery (contract performance). Communication and project management (contract performance). Tax and invoice record keeping (legal obligation). Security monitoring (legitimate interest).
5. Data Sharing
Translators engaged by will-translate receive source documents as required to perform the translation. All translators sign confidentiality agreements. Stripe processes payments. Email service providers handle communications. Spanish tax authorities receive financial data where required by law.
6. Your Rights
Under GDPR: access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection. Submit requests to hello@will-translate.com. Complaints may be lodged with the AEPD at www.aepd.es.
7. Cookies
