Services
Legal translation is performed by a qualified legal translator and is suitable for internal legal use, contract review, and most commercial purposes. Certified sworn translation (Traduccion Jurada) is performed by a translator officially authorised by the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and carries legal validity when submitted to a Spanish public authority or foreign embassy.
Yes. Basque is one of our core language pairs. We have translators with specific experience in the bilingual administrative and business environment of the Basque Country.
No. All translations are produced by human translators. We do not use MT post-editing processes. The rates we charge reflect human translation rates.
Word, PDF, Excel, PowerPoint, InDesign files, HTML, and most common document formats. For localisation, we accept JSON, XLIFF, PO/POT, and other standard string formats.
Pricing
No. All prices exclude Spanish IVA (21%).
Yes. Projects above approximately 5,000 words are quoted individually with volume pricing. Contact us with your project details.
The minimum project fee covers the translation of shorter documents. Documents under approximately 800-1,000 words are still charged at the minimum project rate even if the per-word calculation would be lower.
Yes. Contact us with your document details and language pair and we will quote within 1 business day before any payment is required.
Process & Delivery
From receipt of your completed project brief, not from payment.
Sometimes. Urgent delivery within 24h is available as an add-on where our capacity allows. This is not guaranteed. Contact us first for urgent requests.
We maintain client-specific glossaries and terminology lists. For ongoing clients, the glossary is built and maintained as part of the working relationship.
You have a 5-business-day window to raise any clarification questions or request minor corrections within the original scope.
Legal & Refunds
Within 48 hours of payment if the brief has not been reviewed and work has not started. Once the brief has been reviewed and translation has begun, refunds are not available.
All translators sign non-disclosure agreements. Documents are stored with restricted access and deleted after the agreed retention period. For particularly sensitive documents, we can discuss enhanced confidentiality procedures.
